Ms Krotz joined Mr. Melville as an associate in 2008, and became a partner in the Firm in 2017.  She is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, where she received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Media, Information & Technoculture and English in 2003.

Ms Krotz attended law school at the University of Toronto, and graduated with a J.D. in 2006. She completed her articles at a large litigation boutique in Toronto and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007. In 2015, Ms Krotz completed the Harvard Negotiation Institute workshop on Mediating Disputes.

Ms Krotz practices estate and guardianship litigation and commercial litigation. 

Ms Krotz is a member of the Waterloo Region Law Association; she was the Co-Chair of the Estate Practitioners of Waterloo Region (a practice group within the Waterloo Region Law Association) from 2011 to 2020, and has been a member of the Board of Directors of Parkwood Mennonite Home and Fairview Mennonite Home since 2016.
