Mr. Kelly joined Melville Krotz as an associate in 2017. Prior to joining Melville Krotz, he summered and articled at a national law firm in Waterloo. Mr. Kelly pursues and maintains a practice in civil litigation with a focus on employment law and commercial litigation, including constructions liens and the tragic circumstances that always surround fraud allegations. He is dedicated to providing innovative solutions and effective client-based advocacy.
Mr. Kelly attended the University of Western Ontario where he placed on the Dean’s Honour List after his first year of study. Before law school, Mr. Kelly received his B.A. (Hons) from the University of Waterloo, majoring in Philosophy. He received an award for the highest overall performance for a philosophy student and was also awarded the Departmental Award for Distinguished Academic Achievement in Philosophy.
Mr. Kelly is a member of the Waterloo Region Law Association.
